ANT Fest is our annual, month-long festival of All New Talent showcasing new work from New York’s most adventurous emerging artists. Every June, Ars Nova throws open our doors to the next wave of pioneering theater, comedy, music and hybrid theater-makers who fill our stage with their most dynamic ideas.

Since 1992, this trailblazing summer festival sizzles with over 100 artists presenting queer theater, dance, music, literature, puppetry, comedy, and homoeroticism for the whole family! The longest-running annual LGBTQ+ festival in the world, HOT! has been a pioneer of queer arts and culture for 27 years.

In 2002, the Festival was renamed the National Arts Festival, and is now an independent Section 21 company that has an unrivalled reputation as the leading African showcase of local and international creativity.Spread over 11 days and across 90-odd different venues in Makhanda, the Festival enjoys strong participation from artists from all of South Africa’s nine provinces as well as a number of international artists and audiences visiting South Africa.

A heady mix of theatre, comedy, music, dance, storytelling and good times at venues across the Malá Strana district of Prague – the annual Fringe Festival extravaganza is an experience you will never forget.

Taking place annually in May, Prague Fringe is a nine-day performance festival showcasing the work of hundreds of artists from all over the globe in a variety of traditional, and some not-so-traditional(!), venues in the historical centre of one of the world’s most beautiful cities.

Each year over 200 performances of around 40 different shows are on offer, running from late afternoon into the night.

Past Fresh Meat participants have used the festival as a launch pad for theatrical works intersecting with a variety of genres, including dance, poetry, burlesque, clown, pantomime, performance art, standup, sketch comedy, storytelling, and many more.
